Optimists are a worldwide organization of people
committed to
optimism and self-development for
the improvement of youth and
community.
By providing hope and a positive vision, Optimists
bring out the
best in kids.
What Makes Optimist Clubs Unique?
Our positive approach, our upbeat outlook, and our
commitment to
creating a more optimistic future for
kids are the distinguishing
characteristics of the Mobile
Optimist Club and Optimist International.
Our Club sponsors over thirty programs for the youth
of
the Mobile community.Come join us. With your help,
we

about our
specific services to youth.
We promote “optimism” as expressed in The
Optimist Creed (see link
on left side of the page down
below).
Purpose of the Mobile Optimist Club
To develop optimism as a philosophy of life utilizing
the
tenets of the Optimist Creed;
To promote an active interest in good government and
civic
affairs;
To inspire respect for the law; and to promote non-violence.
To promote patriotism and work for international accord and
friendship among all people;
To aid and encourage the development of youth, in the belief
that
the giving of one’s self in service to others will advance
the
well-being of humankind, community life, and the world.

network of optimists, dedicated to the full development
of
their potential in order to provide ever-expanding
services
to youth, the community and the
world.
